A Message To Our Customers Regarding Coronavirus

Tyre Pros takes the Coronavirus situation in Great Britain and Northern Ireland very seriously.

The situation is being closely monitored, with our first priority being the health and well-being of both our staff and customers. This is the main focus behind any decisions being made.

Many of our customers, both individuals and organisations, including emergency workers, teachers and those providing vital community services rely on us to ensure their vehicles are roadworthy and safe.

In addition, we are taking all the necessary precautions we can to help prevent the spread of the virus:

General Hygiene

Our in centre teams continue to focus on hygiene and strict cleaning regimes, including frequent and thorough hand washing.

Our staff will use a fresh pair of gloves for each vehicle job, safely disposing of each pair afterwards.

Contact with Customers

We are paying close attention to personal space and exercising social distancing as much as possible.

Temporary changes in order to minimise contact mean we will no longer ask for signatures on paper work or in store tablets.

We will be offering quotations and invoices via email which we would encourage you to accept where possible to further minimise contact.

Wearing Face Masks/Coverings

Our staff will wear face masks in line with the current guidelines applicable to the location of our centres and we would politely ask that our customers to do the same. We also will respect any customer or colleague who are exempt from wearing a face covering for age, health or disability reasons and will not require written evidence such as card or badge to be shown as evidence of exemption. Where guidelines require face coverings to be worn, these do not have to be shop-bought face masks; they can also be any cloth or textiles that you have access to, but they must cover your nose and mouth.

When Extra Care is Needed On Arrival

If you would prefer to minimise your time in centre please take the following steps:

  • On arrival please notify a member of reception staff your presence, then return and remain in your vehicle.
  • A member of the team will attend to customers in order of arrival, discussing any additional requirements and either confirming scheduled work or providing a quotation.
  • You should remain in your vehicle until we are ready to commence work on it.
  • At this stage, you can choose to leave your vehicle with us and return when the work is finished, or wait in the reception.

We will post further updates on the developing situation and the steps we are taking on our website and across our social channels on Twitter and Facebook
